Mombar (Astoria, Queens)

Egyptian. Excellent Decor. Great Food. A Bit Expensive. Friendly Service. Definitely Not as Convienent as You would Like. I have been here several times and each time I am amazed. The entire restaurant was created by the chef/artist. He cooks, makes (yes MAKES!) tables, paints. He even laid the tiles down and hung the chandelier himself. The food is classic with a modern twist. Don't forget to order the mint tea and the special desert of the night. You will not regret the trip.
